Celebrating their 40th year as one of the hottest pop talents, The Pointer Sisters are coming to Denver as guest artists for Excelsior Youth Center's Triumphant Faces Gala. As a matter of fact Excelsior Youth Center is celebrating their 40th year serving girls between the ages of 11-18 with emotional and behavior difficulties. We are committed to the treatment and education of these young women and strive to enhance their successful reintegration into their families and their communities.

Minute to Win It - February 8!

Can you believe it!?! The Metro North Chamber 'Minute to Win It' competition is back for a second season!! It will be taking place during the

Metro North Chamber's Annual Gala & Silent Auction event on February 8, 2013!

I will be competing in the 'Minute to Win It' event to raise funds for the Metro North Chamber and the Hyland Hills Foundation.

A signature program of the Foundation is the Be-A-Fish Learn to Swim Program which offers FREE swimming lessons to every child in the District, regardless of their financial circumstances. To date, the program has benefitted more than 8,000 area children who now possess this life-saving skill. Your $20 will teach a child to swim!

Just like the television show, the Metro North Chamber 'Minute to Win It' is a competition, but here's the twist: Audience members will be voting for their favorite contestant through monetary donations. There's some pretty stiff competition out there, so

I NEED YOUR HELP!! I'm recruiting you to be part of my fan base, while also helping me support two of my favorite local not-for-profits: the Metro North Chamber and Hyland Hills Foundation.

Join us for the sights, sounds and tastes of one of the world's most exciting cities during Kempe Takes Venice. All proceeds from the evening will benefit The Kempe Foundation for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect.

This year's Kempe Foundation Gala will be held in downtown Denver's beautiful Seawell Grand Ballroom where we will join together to celebrate children who need us the most. The evening will include a cocktail reception, an elegant dinner, program and entertainment, and a silent and live auction. I am proud to be involved in this incredible organization and to serve as Entertainment Chair. Click here to learn more.

Disintermediation. That's a long and very officious term for a simple concept: Get rid of the middleman. And while getting rid of the middleman may have helped a lot of companies' bottom lines, it may have caused a lot of other headaches.

As we've cut out middlemen (more correctly, middlepersons) there has been a corresponding drop in customer service without causing a drop in customer prices. It seems to me that we are now paying more to have less service.
